Today’s landfills have little relation to the "dumps" of the past. In recent years, vast improvements have been made in terms of engineering, construction and environmental safety.

Granger has established internal standards which exceed requirements such as; the installation of additional liner components, multiple leachate collection systems, perimeter gas collections systems installed as part of initial construction, and construction in optimal weather conditions. This requires that cells are planned three to five years in advance assuring timely capacity for our customers.

Operations are conducted in a similar fashion. Flexibility and planning are utilized to operate sites from waste acceptance procedures to working with the customer to establish segregated areas to streamline transportation.

Granger constructs and operates sites with their own associates. Engineers, surveyors, equipment operators, and laborers are part of the service provided to our customers. Quality control is left to the judgment of those who know the sites the best, with subcontractors and consultants retained to provide assurance of independent peer review.
