What kind of activities do you do on a typical workday?

• Order new equipment, anything from garbage trucks to trash machines, loaders, forklifts, skid steers, etc.
• Code invoices
• Budget for new equipment
• Manage bid process to efficiently use Granger resources

How long have you worked at Granger?

As a fourth generation Granger family member, I worked here every summer from a young age. I’ve been working here as a full-time associate for the last 11 years.

What’s your favorite part about working at Granger?

Getting to work with my family (brother, cousins, uncles, etc.)

What do you find most interesting about this industry?

The level of skill it takes to safely operate a garbage truck, especially as they’ve become more and more automated

What’s your favorite destination in Michigan?

My parents’ cabin in Harrison
